The “Anthropocene
Age” considers the after effects over modern science combined with over
population of our planet and the increase of microbiological diseases. Further, the possibility of particle
accelerator experimentation that is hypothesized could disintegrate Earth’s
core.
The book explorea the alarming news that the world’s eco-systems are at risk of "rapid
degradation and collapse" according to a new United Nations report. The
third Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO-3) published by the Convention on
Biological Diversity (CBD) warned that unless "swift, radical and
creative action" is taken "massive further loss is increasingly
likely and that we are continuing to lose biodiversity at a rate never before
seen in history." Also is considered
new evidence concerning the rapid
extinction of species, climate change and scientific experimentation.
It is noted that
the Mayan calendar that ends on December 12.2012 and additional information
provided by the Maya-Katun prophecies
appear also to herald our demise For
the optimist this may dampen their enthusiasm, for the pessimist there is
much new information to confirm their negative frustrations as the author
describes the forthcoming cataclysm..

The theory of a 2012 "galactic alignment" that has produced
former mass extinction of life as evidenced from fossils, also the hypothesis
which supposes that when the Sun's orbit takes it outside the galactic
disc, the influence of galactic tide
is weaker; as it re-enters the galactic disc, this influences the far stronger "disc
tides",(Which, increase the flux
of Oort cloud comets into the Solar System by a factor of 4 leading to a
massive increase in the likelihood of a devastating comet impact.
The book continues in this manner, to alert us to the ensuing crisis
we all face and discusses biological and chemical hazards which ponder us to
question”Are we all tottering at the very end of the Doomsday Clock. To this
the author poses the question, "Is
our time well-nigh upon us?" and allows us to search for answers to all
‘calamities’ that threaten our very existence in the ‘Anthropocene Age..
